Steve,
Great post again.

@ airport security measures, this is what happened yesterday in Slovakia:-)
http://www.usatoday.com/travel/flights/item.aspx?type=blog&ak=13661.blog

Security were testing their abilities to search explosives and they put it to the laguage of few passengers and after plane took off to Ireland, they found out that one explosive is missing as they didnt remove it from the lugguage of the man who didn't have a clue that he will be arrested after touching down in Dublin;-)

And that "famous" airport was in my hometown;-) And now your blog post is just fitting into it;-) I love these kind of coincidences
cheers from Slovakia

Thanks Gareth, Yeah, it is easy for me and others to criticize their efforts. I know they are working hard. And I know that they have a lot of bright people tackling an extremely difficult problem. It's just unfortunate that given all of their work, the responses always seem to be the same.

Great post Steve . I'm sure that National Security thought that they had connected the dots but had a preconception About which dots to join. They kept their eye on the ball but did not "Spot the gorilla " . We need to remember that there is more than one way to connect the dots .
