I was damn near rolling on the floor laughing. I have two kids, a 4 year old and a 21 month old. The last two comments about when mom and dad are upset or mad really reminded me of my 4 year old. Children these days are amazing and I truly feel that we underestimate them and their intelligence.

My children have inspired me so much that I started my own good advice site, engineermylife.com. Hopefully these tips can help, even if they are not this funny.

[...] How is it that kids are so young, with such little life experience, and yet they often blow us away when it comes to wisdom? I found a great list of advice from children on the Goal-Free Living blog (who originally got the list from Eolake Stobblehouse). Here are my top 10 favorites: Making your bed is a waste of time.
Great stuff. I think half of these comments came from one of my three kids. A couple that must not have made the top 20 is "Why take a shower? I am only going to get dirty again tomorrow!" "It is OK for your father to give you a head butt but you can't call your father a butt head." "It is also OK for your father to tell you to suck it up but you can't say that sucks." And "don't ask your little sister to sing Yankee Doodle y substituting a letter "F" for the first letter of every word."
